Invitation: Past Master Roast of WB Bob Blackburn…

… AND Membership Recognition Awards Night!

He has been a great Master for our lodge - we honor him with this fun event and dinner.  We will also have some great awards to bestow on some of our members, an event you won’t want to miss!  Bring your significant other for a fun and elegant dinner.

Saturday February 26th - 6:00 p.m.

Price includes entrée, choice of soup or salad, dessert, and drink (soda, tea, coffee); all meals include complimentary bread and hummus.


                                  The Menu!

Soup or Salad:

  • The Q Bistro Salad Baby greens with crumbled bleu cheese, grapes, dried cherries, cranberries, raisins, walnuts, pecans, and champagne-truffle vinaigrette. Served with a Parmigiano-Reggiano crisp.
  • Soup of the Day The Q Bistro offers a daily rotating selection of house made soups, one of which will always be vegetarian.

Entrees:

  • Chicken & Shrimp Jambalaya An original Acadian dish. A seasoned combination of chicken, shrimp, smoked andouille sausage, tomatoes, onions, peppers, celery, herbs, confetti rice pilaf, and spices. Gluten free.
  • Rosemary Chicken Marinated in shallots, garlic, citrus juice, olive oil, and fresh herbs. Grilled perfectly, served with cheesy country mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables.
  • Bistro Sirloin Steak* Grilled to order served with cheesy country mashed potatoes, fresh vegetables, onion crisps, and topped with a mushroom demi-glace.
  • Bistro Style Tilapia Fillet with Shrimp Lightly crusted with panko bread crumbs, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, and fresh herbs. Pan seared with gulf shrimp, finished with white wine, lemon, capers, spinach, and artichoke hearts. Served with angel hair pasta.
  • Butternut Ravioli Jumbo ravioli filled with butternut squash, ricotta cheese, and herbs. Tossed with roasted garlic, leeks, onions, shallots, sweet basil, fresh tarragon and cream. Garnished with pecans.

  • Key Lime Pie, Tuxedo Mousse Cake, Bread Pudding

Master’s Table | July Event a Success!

Master's Table | July 2010We had a phenomenal night at Joe’s Crab Shack this past Wednesday. We had close to 30 people there, including three new candidates and visiting brothers from as far away as Detroit and Jackson! We are also receiving many requests for plural membership! Clearly we have a great thing going on at AAF262.

Past Master’s Dinner & Recognition Dinner

On February 19, 2010 we gathered at the Quarter Bistro Restaurant in Ann Arbor for an exceptional night of food and fellowship. 

We had a private side room for the event and a great turn out.  The honorees that evening included immediate Past Master Chris Fultz, “Mason of the Year 2009” Bob Hospadaruk and special achievement honoree Brian Cors.

We also honored two longevity recipients, Bro. Gerald Canter [60 years], and Bro. Nicholas Chapekis [50 years].

Brothers, their ladies and guests will share an evening of fellowship, food and recognition of those who have given so much to the success of our Lodge - especially our immediate Past Master Chris Fultz and his wife Jill. It is especially hoped that many of our Past Masters will be in attendance to share their thoughts on the Fraternity and the Lodge.

DINNER MENU CHOICES:
All choices include bread, hummus, an entrée, salad, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage.

  • Chicken San Francisco
    Chicken poached in white wine, lemon, shallots, artichokes, mushrooms, cream and sour cream.
  • Pan-Seared Tilapia Filet
    Lightly crusted with panko bread crumbs, parmigiano-reggiano cheese and herbs, finished with white wine, lemon, capers and artichoke hearts.
  • Butternut Squash Ravioli Florentine
    Tossed with roasted garlic, leeks, baby spinach, Vidalia onions and herb.
